The mobile personal emergency signal device Life Tel 4 has been specially developed for securing lone workers who work at individual workstations on extensive facilities. The Life Tel 4 is a robust smartphone and, in combination with the lone worker protection app, is particularly suitable for outdoor use. You can manage the emergency call of the Life Tel 4 yourself, e.g. by the porter, own company security or your own control center. But you can also use an external 24-hour emergency call control center. This must be able to manage and process phone calls and SMS, as these sometimes transmit GPS coordinates.
The Life Tel 4 sends out an alarm based on predefined settings when there is no movement. If the Life Tel 4 detects an irregularity, a pre-alarm occurs first. If this pre-alarm is not switched off by the user because the user may be unconscious, the alarm is forwarded to a self-defined number or to a control center. The respective contact person now tries to establish voice contact with the accident victim. If that is not possible because the person concerned is no longer able to do so, action must be taken.
If the lone worker is working in the open, the person's position can be transmitted via GPS tracking so that emergency doctors, fire brigade, etc. can be notified and can act. An action plan should be available so that if the worst comes to the worst, the casualty can be helped as quickly as possible.
The working person wears the Life-Tel 4 on their upper arm or on their belt and in an emergency triggers an alarm via the lone worker protection app and notifies up to six phone numbers via SMS and / or phone call. This also happens if the person is not able to do this himself (voluntary alarm). The working person triggers a manual (voluntary) alarm with just one push of a button.
Employees with sedentary activities, such as at isolated computer workstations, the Life-Tel 4 secures a.o. via a position sensor, the angle, body to the desk is always monitored.
SOS emergency call button / panic button
The red SOS button on the Life-Tel 4 is used to trigger an alarm immediately by the user. With a simple push of a button, the Life-Tel immediately sends alarms to three preprogrammed numbers. The alarms are sent as SMS and / or phone calls.
No-movement alarm / dead man's switch
In the event of a no-movement alarm, the Life-Tel 4 monitors whether the user is moving. If it does not detect any movement after a self-defined period of time because the person is unable to act, the device triggers a pre-alarm. This is indicated optically and acoustically. If the person does not move again within the duration of the pre-alarm, the Life-Tel 4 triggers the alarm and notifies the preset phone numbers via SMS and / or phone call.
Position alarm
The Life-Tel 4 monitors the position of the device using a position sensor. If the person wearing the Life-Tel 4 deviates from the preset position by more than 45 degrees over a defined period of time, the Life-Tel 4 triggers a pre-alarm. If the person does not return to the set angle range within the duration of the pre-alarm (e.g. due to fainting), the Life-Tel 4 triggers the alarm and notifies the preset phone numbers via SMS and / or phone call.
Time alarm
In the event of a time alarm, the Life-Tel 4 reports optically at defined times or time intervals by flashing the large buttons and an acoustic signal. By pressing any button, the user acknowledges that everything is OK. If there is no confirmation, the Life-Tel 4 triggers the alarm and notifies the preset phone numbers via SMS and / or phone call.
Escape alarm
With this alarm, the Life-Tel 4 reacts to hectic movements such as those occurring during an escape. After the pre-alarm, the Life-Tel 4 triggers the alarm and notifies the preset phone numbers by SMS and / or phone call.
Fall alarm
Alternative to the escape alarm - if an escape alarm is not expected at work and the risk of falling is significantly high, the alarm in the event of a fall serves as an alternative.
