The Personal Emergency Signal Device (PNG) is specifically designed with the integrated app for the protection of lone workers. The Life Tel 5 is a slim smartphone and, in combination with the lone worker app, it is particularly suitable for lighter tasks in the indoor area. You can manage the emergency call of the Life Tel 5 yourself, e.g., through the doorman, your own company security, or your own control center. However, you can also use an external 24-hour emergency call center. This must be able to manage and process phone calls as well as SMS, as these may transmit GPS coordinates.

Compared to the Life Tel 4, the Life Tel 5 Mini is significantly slimmer and more compact in its design. It is therefore suitable for applications where no special durability of the smartphone is required.

The Life Tel 5 emits an alarm based on predefined settings in case of immobility. If the Life Tel 5 detects an irregularity, a pre-alarm is triggered first. The working person wears the Life-Tel 5 on their upper arm or belt and triggers an alarm in case of emergency via the emergency app, notifying up to six phone numbers via SMS and/or call. This happens even if the person is not able to do so themselves (independent of will alarm). A manual (dependent on will) alarm is triggered by the working person with just the push of a button.

The red SOS button of the Life-Tel 5 is used for immediate alarm activation by the user. After a simple press of the button, the Life-Tel immediately sends alarms to three pre-programmed numbers. The alarms are sent as SMS and/or calls.

With the inactivity alarm, the Life-Tel 5 monitors whether the user is in motion. If it does not detect any movement after a user-defined period, because the person is incapacitated, the device triggers a pre-alarm. This is indicated visually and acoustically. If the person does not move again during the duration of the pre-alarm, the Life-Tel 5 triggers the alarm and notifies the preset phone numbers via SMS and/or call.

Situation alarm

The Life-Tel 5 monitors the position of the device using a position sensor. If the carrier of the Life-Tel 5 deviates from the preset position by more than 45 degrees over a defined period, the Life-Tel 5 triggers a pre-alarm. If the person does not return to the set angle range within the duration of the pre-alarm (e.g., due to fainting), the Life-Tel 5 triggers the alarm and notifies the preset phone numbers via SMS and/or call.

Time alarm

The Life-Tel 5 signals at defined times or intervals visually by blinking the large buttons and through an acoustic signal. By pressing any button, the user acknowledges that everything is fine. If no confirmation is received, the Life-Tel 5 triggers the alarm and notifies the pre-set phone numbers via SMS and/or call.

Escape alarm

In this alarm, the Life-Tel 5 responds to frantic movements, such as those occurring during a flight. After the pre-alarm, the Life-Tel 5 triggers the alarm and notifies the preset phone numbers via SMS and/or call.

Thrush alarm

Alternative to the escape alarm – if an escape alarm is not expected at work, but the risk of falls is significantly high, the alarm in the event of a fall serves as an alternative.

Employees with sedentary activities, such as at isolated screen workstations, are secured by the Life-Tel 5, among other things, through a position sensor, which continuously monitors the angle of the body to the desk.
