Personal emergency signal reception center (PNEZ-S) for lone workers
Monitoring and management of personal emergency signal devices
A personal emergency signal reception center (PNEZ-S) monitors, manages, and controls Personal emergency signal devices (PNG). The center receives emergency calls or signals from lone workers in distress. This can be done through various communication channels such as phone calls, SMS messages, or emergency apps.
Central control center for rapid emergency assistance
Establishing an emergency signal center is an important step to ensure the safety and well-being of people in emergency situations. Ideally, the emergency signal center should be located where continuous monitoring and rapid response are guaranteed. Suitable locations could include the gatehouse, operations management office, control center, plant security, or similar facilities.
The center receives all incoming alarm and voice calls, as well as SMS, and responds accordingly.
The following alarm types are detected:
- Rest alarm
- Fall alarm
- Time alarm
- Situation alarm
- Escape alarm
- Emergency call button
- Technical alarm
The PNEZ-S (Personal Emergency Signal Reception Center Interface) offers a comprehensive range of functions and information essential for effective monitoring and coordination in emergencies. The following points are components of the PNEZ-S and must be properly processed and managed:
-
Alarm acknowledgment: When an alarm is received from the personal emergency signal triggering device (PNA device), it is important that the alarm is either acknowledged or deactivated to ensure the situation is handled appropriately.
-
Voice connection with PNA: With just one click, a voice connection can be established between the PNEZ-S and the PNA device to enable direct real-time communication.
-
GPS position on Google Maps: The PNEZ-S displays the GPS position of the device that triggered the alarm on Google Maps. This allows emergency responders to quickly determine the exact location of the affected person.
-
Live view of PNA devices: The PNEZ-S offers a live view showing active and inactive PNA devices along with their alarm status and battery status. This enables comprehensive system monitoring.
-
Display of device status: The device status can be shown on button press or automatically at certain intervals to check the functionality of the PNA devices.
-
Device status preview after self-test: After the PNA devices complete a self-test, the PNEZ-S can display a preview of the current device status.
-
Application updates via server: The PNEZ-S allows updating applications on the PNA devices via a dedicated server, provided there is an internet connection.
-
Data backup during device reset: In case of a device reset, all relevant data is saved to your Gmail account and can be restored to ensure smooth operation.
-
Usage data of lone workers: The PNEZ-S records and stores the usage data of lone workers, giving you comprehensive insight into your employees' active data.
The PNEZ-S is thus a powerful and reliable system that ensures the safety and protection of lone workers and enables an efficient response to emergencies. The mentioned functions guarantee continuous monitoring and communication to quickly provide appropriate assistance.
