Acceleration and position sensors trigger a dead man's alarm on this ATEX smartphone, depending on the pre-configured setting. The wearer of the Life Tel 5 L Ex then has the option of acknowledging the alarm. With the help of the built-in sensors, the specially designed emergency app recognizes the movement profile of the lone worker, so that the Life Tel 5 L EX automatically triggers an emergency signal to the connected control center in the event of an accident or a voluntary call for help from the wearer. A hands-free connection can also be established to establish voice contact with the casualty. The integrated GPS tracking module transmits the position directly if necessary. The red SOS button of the Life-Tel 5 L EX used for immediate alarm triggering by the user. With a simple push of a button, the Life-Tel will immediately send alarms to three pre-programmed numbers. The alarms are sent as SMS and/or calls.

With the no-movement alarm, the Life-Tel 5 L EX monitors whether the user is in motion. If it does not detect any movement after a user-definable time because the person is unable to act, the device triggers a pre-alarm. This is indicated visually and acoustically. If the person does not move again within the duration of the pre-alarm, this triggers Life-Tel 5 L EX turn off the alarm and notify the preset phone numbers via SMS and/or call.
