Personal emergency signal systems that are built and parameterized according to product standard VDE V 0825-1 are suitable for personal emergency signaling during dangerous lone work in accordance with DGUV Rule 112-139 (ex BGR/GUV-R 139).
Life Tel 6 L - Industrial smartphone as a personal emergency signal system (PNA) for lone workers including dead man's switch and emergency call app
Industrial smartphone as personal emergency signal system (PNA) including emergency call app for the protection of lone workers
The mobile personal emergency signal device Life Tel 6 L has been specially developed to secure lone workers who work at individual workstations in large facilities. The Life Tel 6 L is a robust smartphone and, in combination with the lone worker protection app, is particularly suitable for outdoor use. You can manage the Life Tel 6 L emergency call yourself, e.g. through the porter, your own company security or your own control center. However, you can also use an external 24-hour emergency call center. This must be able to manage and process phone calls and SMS, as these sometimes transmit GPS coordinates. If necessary, you are welcome to use the 24-hour service of one of our cooperation partners. Contact us for more information.
The Life Tel 6 L sends out an alarm based on predefined settings when there is no movement. If the Life Tel 6 L detects an irregularity, a pre-alarm is given first. If this pre-alarm is not switched off by the user because the user may be unconscious, the alarm is forwarded to a self-defined number or to a control center. The respective contact person now tries to make voice contact with the person who had the accident. If this is not possible because the person concerned is no longer able to do so, action must be taken.
If the lone worker is working outdoors, the position of the person can be transmitted via GPS so that emergency doctors, the fire brigade, etc. can be notified and act. A plan of action should be available so that if the worst comes to the worst, the casualty can be helped as quickly as possible.
The working person wears the Life-Tel 6 L on their upper arm and, in an emergency, triggers an alarm via the lone worker protection app and notifies up to six telephone numbers via SMS and/or call. This also happens if the person is not able to do this themselves (voluntary alarm). The working person triggers a manual (voluntary) alarm with just one push of a button.
Lone worker protection app
With the help of the self-developed emergency app of the Life-Tel 6 L, the person in need is found immediately and can be cared for as quickly as possible.
SOS emergency button / panic button
The red SOS button on the Life-Tel 6 L is used to immediately trigger an alarm by the user. With a simple push of a button, the Life-Tel will immediately send alarms to three pre-programmed numbers. The alarms are sent as SMS and/or calls.
No movement alarm / dead man's switch
With the no-movement alarm, the Life-Tel 6 L monitors whether the user is in motion. If it does not detect any movement after a user-definable time because the person is unable to act, the device triggers a pre-alarm. This is indicated visually and acoustically. If the person does not move again within the duration of the pre-alarm, the Life-Tel 6 triggers the alarm and notifies the preset phone numbers via SMS and/or call.
The Life-Tel 6 L monitors the position of the device using a position sensor. If the wearer of the Life-Tel 6 L deviates from the preset position by more than 45 degrees over a defined period of time, the Life-Tel 6 L triggers a pre-alarm. If the person does not return to the set angle range within the duration of the pre-alarm (e.g. due to fainting), the Life-Tel 6 L triggers the alarm and notifies the preset phone numbers via SMS and/or call.
In the case of a time alarm, the Life-Tel 6 L reports optically at defined times or time intervals by flashing the large buttons and by an acoustic signal. By pressing any button, the user acknowledges that everything is in order. If there is no confirmation, the Life-Tel triggers the alarm and notifies the preset phone numbers via SMS and/or phone call.
With this alarm, the Life-Tel 6 L reacts to hectic movements, such as those that occur when escaping. After the pre-alarm, the Life-Tel 6 L triggers the alarm and notifies the preset phone numbers by SMS and/or call.
Alternative to the escape alarm - if an escape alarm is not to be expected at work, but the risk of falling is significantly high, the alarm in the event of a fall serves as an alternative.
